Conference Registration

All the attendees are required to register. Conference Registration includes welcome reception, sessions, exhibition, coffee breaks, banquet and a CD-ROM version of the conference proceedings. In addition, tutorials are available for an additional fee per course.
Note: General Conference Registration is NOT required to participate in tutorials.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged. On-site tutorial registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with no guarantee of classroom space or course material availability.

1. AM1  Carbon Nanotube based Nanotechnology (scheduled in AM)
2. AM2  Introduction to Nanorobotics (scheduled in AM)
3. PM1  Nanostructures and Nanoelectronics (scheduled in PM)
4. PM2  An Introduction to Spintronic Devices and Architectures (scheduled in PM)
Tutorial AM1 and AM2 will be parallel session in the morning and PM1 and PM2 will be in the afternoon. So you can choose only one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

1. Conference banquet is not included in student registration fees. Those people who wish to attend the banquet should purchase an additional banquet ticket.

2. Students are requested to submit the copy of their Student ID by Fax to the IEEE-NANO 2005 Registration Office. (+81-3-3292-1811)

3. If students would like to register as a “Student Member”, they should fill out the IEEE student membership application. (IEEE student membership applicant should be taking at least 50% of a full-time academic program/course of study in an IEEE designated field of interest.)

Cancellation Policy:
A written notification of cancellation must be received from participants before a refund can be made.
The following cancellation fee and bank handling charge will be deducted before refunding.
All refunds will be made after the conference.

When written notice of cancellation received:
On or before May 31, 2005: JPY 5,000
On or before June 10, 2005: 50%
After June 11, 2005: 100% (No refund)
