Statement
The fields represented by the societies and councils in Division X are rapidly growing in worldwide manner with revolutionary leading-edge technologies. My research covers the fields of interest of most of Division X's societies and councils and I frequently travel to the US and Europe so that I can understand the current situations and challenges in our technical communities.

The IEEE is a transnational organization.  I would like to see it become more global and responsive to the needs of members and to the development of its membership throughout the world.  As Division X Director, I would like to establish more communication between the Board of Directors and the Society/Council, and work with them more closely for enhancement of publications, conferences, and other technical activities in a global manner.

Based on my experiences with IEEE technical activities, I believe that I qualify for, and I can devote myself to, serving as, the Division X director with enthusiasm. I ask you to allow me to make a difference as Director of Division X.
