Development of patient-specific biodegradable scaffolds based on arterial configuration
We aim to develop artificial blood vessels with appropriate compliance and biodegradability based on patient-specific CT data.
A patient-specific scaffold of human carotid artery is successfully developed by using poly(L-lactide-co-ƒÃ-caprolactone) as a biodegradable material.
The biocompatibility of sheet-like scaffold was confirmed by the attachment of HUVECs.
